I googled her awhile back, I think I saw her sister Jennifer on something and thought about Meg. Didn't realize she'd been doing some occasional acting, I just remember she quit the biz in the 90s and wondered what happened to her. She was one of those "promising" actresses who just walked away from it all. And yes she still looks good!

Her children were young and her marriage fell apart, but then she fell in love with Colin Firth. They lived in the woods for awhile, raised her kids together and had one of their own, and she started writing. She'd been sexually abused when she was young and needed to get that out of her system. Her book was successful and she's also written a suspense series. Eventually Colin Firth couldn't deal with the isolation any longer, so he returned to England and his career there.
