Shia LaBeouf And Mia Goth Are Expecting Their First Child
February 2, 2022 / Posted by: Allison
A few months ago, Shia LaBeouf was seen at a Chuck E. Cheese with a very pregnant-looking Mia Goth, and everyone automatically assumed the obvious. That Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth were suffering from long-term tastebud loss, which is the only explanation for two adults choosing to eat the showbiz rat’s pizza. But aside from that, it also made people assume that Shia and Mia were expecting a baby. No confirmation on the subject has been made, until yesterday, when it was confirmed by People magazine that, yes, they’re expecting a baby.
Mia was seen running errands on Friday in Pasadena, California, and she looked very much like how one would picture a pregnant person would look, which only added further credibility to the rumor that she was pregnant. Has anyone made a Mamma Mia! joke yet?
A few days after that, People confirmed that she’s pregnant. Neither Shia nor Mia do social media, so a confirmation à la People is all we’re gonna get.
This will be 28-year-old Mia and 35-year-old Shia’s first kid. Shia and Mia have a messy history. They got together after meeting in 2012 on the set of Nymphomaniac, and a few years after that they had a messy public fight in Germany. In 2016, after splitting and reconciling a bunch of times, they got married in Las Vegas on a TMZ Livestream, and announced they were getting a divorce in 2018. It’s not known if the divorce was ever finalized, or if it was dismissed. But clearly, love blossomed once again between these two, and Mia has been seen wearing her wedding ring again.
In the time that they were split up, Shia went on to date FKA Twigs, who later sued him for domestic assault, among other things. He was also linked to Margaret Qualley about a year ago.
And now Shia is going to be a dad. So, that’s something. But I’m sure he’ll be a great dad. After all, Shia wrote and starred in a movie about how his own dad messed him up as a kid, so maybe he’ll be parenting from a place of self-awareness. Or at the very least, maybe before he reacts to anything, he will stop and ask himself, “Hmmmm…is my kid going to write a screenplay about this 30 years from now?”
