Same, I've always found her so pretty. I really like her with darker hair and I think she looks lovely here.

I don't love the dress either, but in general she looks great.

Princess Charlene of Monaco has deactivated her Instagram account, as reports emerge she may now be living in Switzerland. The Princess, 45, who is married to Prince Albert of Monaco, 65, no longer has a valid Instagram handle, and a search for her old handle, @hshprincesscharlene, retrieves no results. Instead, an error message reads: 'Sorry, this page isn't available.' The mother-of-two, who has spent the summer on a yacht trip with her husband and their eight-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, previously used her Instagram page to document official visits and trips out with her children - but the record of such events no longer appears to exist. Although the Princess's personal account has been deleted, the account for The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation remains active. Earlier this week it was reported that the Princess was 'living in Switzerland' and only sees her husband Prince Albert for ceremonial reasons, according to German and French media. But she has not returned to the Palace and is living in abroad, fuelling speculation about the state of the couple's marriage. A source close to the couple told French newspaper Voici that the former Olympic swimmer and son of Grace Kelly are just a 'ceremonial couple'. It adds that Charlene has promised to return to Monaco on official occasions and is now allowed to see her children more often. 'Albert and Charlène are now good partners, take turns taking care of the children,' a source added to German newspaper Bild. It is unconfirmed when the Instagram account was taken offline, although Hello! Magazine suggests it was deactivated today (Thursday). FEMAIL has contacted the Monaco Royal Palace for comment. www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-12440647/Princess-Charlene-Monaco-deletes-Instagram-account-amid-reports-living-Switzerland-sees-husband-Prince-Albert-appointment.html#comments

I'm not saying that it couldn't be true, but the german "newspaper" Bild is even shittier than the Sun and Daily Fail combined.

Lol I wondered the same thing Kitty.
I googled Bild and it says it's the biggest-selling newspaper in Europe.

How can anything be shittier than the Heil and the Scum combined? It's leaning more and more right wing on top of lying, making up things and putting things out of context to no end. It's shameless and dark without any sense or decency. And here, people believe every shit as long as it's in print.

On the other hand, it is not a difficult story to believe when she has looked miserable from day one of their marriage.

^^^ I'd applaud her if she leaves Albert if she's unhappy, but I thought they looked better together recently.

If she's "'living in Switzerland' and only sees her husband Prince Albert for ceremonial reasons" then no wonder she looks happier, she knows that once the cameras are gone, she's out of there. They might actually be getting on better because she feels free.

she was never trapped though, she's very well paid and i think her misery is self-induced. my sense, from what my friend has told me is she's very spoiled, high maintenance and has no real sense of purpose. and she wanted to be very well paid and not have to do all the ceremonial bullshit that goes with being a prince's wife, and instead spend all her time faffing about in south Africa and corsica, leaving the kids with nannies back in monaco, and even that didn't make her happy. and she developed a pill habit along the way which is what she went to the clinic in switzerland for.

This is why I call her Princess Pitiful now. At the time of the marriage I was riveted by the wild tale of the beautiful athlete basically imprisoned by the beastly prince and forced into a marriage she had tried to escape. What drama, what pathos. The videos of a stoic, unsympathetic, Albert reciting his vows next to a quietly sobbing Charlene was the stuff of telenova legend. At the time, Albert was kinda gross with his overweight, unsmiling, persona producing a seemingly endless chain of illegitimate children and scandalous proclivities. (No pegging though - at least not that I heard - that honor stays sweet Willy's willy.) But Albert straightened himself out - and I stress this straightening process was only necessary for the world beyond the rich enclave of Monaco, and mostly the US press, I think. Monaco has always loved Albert, and I think these days we can see why. He's relaxed but somehow still regal, he's involved, he's obviously very comfortable with his slightly terrifying legitimate children, and most of all, in the pictures with Charlene, he looks soothing and kind, while she kept the squiggy sadness way past its expiration date. So, I hope she's happy, but I definitely don't see her as repressed anymore. And I blame the creepy kids on her, even though she looks a bit terrified by them herself.
