It will probably take another several generations to truly get rid of the Windsor fug.
I'm actually starting to think it's probably a good thing for them to be at least a tad fug. It probably adds character. Andrew definitely thought he was "the shit" when he was younger. And I think being more conventionally handsome than his siblings was at least a factor. Other than the fact that he was Liz's favorite and she acted like he could do no wrong.
When does this poor kid (Louis) get to stop wearing short pants? He's getting long legs and it's starting to look a little ridiculous. He's in a sweater FFS. And sitting in a barrel full of yard clippings. Hope those legs don't get eaten up.

Andrew was decent at best. Not one of the brothers has ever been conventionally handsome. Anne had her moments, but she'd always been rather handsome than pretty. Their parents were both far better looking than their children. philip was the real looker in the family. elizabeth was kind of pretty in her youth but philip was a total hottie. anne could have been far more attractive if she hadn't settled on that fucking hideous frigid schoolmarm hair at such a young age, and if she didn't dress so frumpy. she looked an old 50 by the time she was in her 30s. |

Yeah the worst of the Windsor genes seem to lay dormant until a suitable bride has been secured, after which a switch flips and the downward slide begins. Bill only just squeezed it in by marrying Kathy when he did, although I don't think he had anything to worry about as after 10 years I don't think Ma Middleton was going to let him get away even if he turned into Shrek. |
