So, the British Royal family isn't alone in being petty shitheads. Huh.

I don't really get the big deal about stripping them of titles? But I also don't really know how things work there.

^^^ Well, imagine if QEII had stripped Beatrice & Eugenie of their titles. They would have been devastated and it would have felt like Granny didn't love them anymore.

And no fucker in the UK would have cared. Maybe Margarethe spoke to Harry at the funeral & it gave her ideas? Netflix is big enough for at least 2 ex princes.

I guess Margrethe wasn't impressed with Nikolai and Felix choosing to coast on their titles by becoming models. They want you to at least pretend like you are interested in doing something worthwhile with your life, like getting a profession that might require a college degree or special training, or going into military service, or doing charity work. You can't just be (or appear to be) a famous for being famous celebrity or a useless rich party animal. Unless you're a mama's boy who can do no wrong like Prince Andrew. Or the child or grandchild of Prince Andrew. Gawd if Chuck doesn't do a single goddamn thing else with the rest of his life I hope Andrew and his whole fucking branch gets the shaft. Or at least Andrew.

I saw the mom and dad were whining that the kids identity are being taken from them. So I guess they were just going to sit on their asses for the rest of their lives doing nothing.

It was very wise of them to have a fall back.
Princess Anne did not give her kids titles and they seem to be doing just fine. And unbothered by this.

I don't think anyone needs titles in this day and age, but I also think it's probably better to never give royal kids titles than strip them when they are adults. They grow up in such a bubble that their titles must feel like their entire identity.

They haven't been stripped of all titles just prince/ss " Logo EN 28 September 2022 | News Changes in titles and forms of address in the Royal Family Share In April 2008, Her Majesty The Queen bestowed upon her sons, their spouses and their descendants the titles of count and countess of Monpezat. In May 2016, it was also announced that His Royal Highness Prince Christian, as the only one of The Queen’s grandchildren, is expected to receive an annuity from the state as an adult. As a natural extension of this, Her Majesty has decided that, as of 1 January 2023, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim’s descendants can only use their titles as counts and countess of Monpezat, as the titles of prince and princess that they have held up until now will be discontinued. Prince Joachim’s descendants will thus have to be addressed as excellencies in the future. The Queen’s decision is in line with similar adjustments that other royal houses have made in various ways in recent years. With her decision, Her Majesty The Queen wishes to create the framework for the four grandchildren to be able to shape their own lives to a much greater extent without being limited by the special considerations and duties that a formal affiliation with the Royal House of Denmark as an institution involves. All four grandchildren maintain their places in the order of succession. www.kongehuset.dk/en/news/changes-in-titles-and-forms-of-address-in-the-royal-family

Is Chuck shrinking? Or did I simply not realize how short he is?
