The other reason she constantly gets in trouble for staying stupid shit is she's a comedian and they love getting a rise out of people by doing and saying offensive stuff. Like a lot of older people who've gotten away with it all their lives, or even been rewarded with a successful career for it like she has, I can't imagine she'll change now. It's good she's being called out.
