Yep, although I can't say I feel sorry for McConnell or any of the other dumb bastards who supported him when it suited their purposes. They should know by now that he'll turn on them in a heartbeat. no kidding. repukes made the bed, Trump pissed and shat in it and now they can all lay in it together. I just hate that the rest of the world has to deal with this bullshit too though.

So I am seeing rumors that Trump's indictments should be dropping right after the election next week. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Yes, I believe that. It appears that Kash Patel has worked out a deal in exchange for his testimony.

They'd better because I read that Trump plans on announcing on 11/14 that he's running for the 2024 presidency.

Trump said at a rally in Ohio yesterday that he's making a big announcement on Nov 15 from Mar-a-Lago.
No chance that it will be that he's decided to live the rest of his life as a recluse on a deserted island.

Wouldn’t it be great if he gets indicted the night before?

Supposedly, he is having an epic melt-down about the election results.

He's having a meltdown because all the political commentators are saying that the Trump backed candidates performed poorly overall. He knows that he's losing control of the party and he can't deal with it.

He's having a meltdown because all the political commentators are saying that the Trump backed candidates performed poorly overall. He knows that he's losing control of the party and he can't deal with it. It's an incredibly toxic symbiotic relationship. The RNC has humored him because he brings in campaign donations, and they are also deathly afraid of him turning on them. He's like that boy in the Twilight Episode who has the power to "send people into the cornfield". They have been paying for his legal fees, and Ronna McDaniel said over the weekend that they will have to stop that funding if he declares himself as a candidate. Now, with the implosion of his candidates, and the obvious reveal of how little sway he has on a general election (in fact, it's a backfire), I think the party will start pulling away. They have literally two years where they don't have to worry about him endorsing some other nutjob for a primary - I think that's ample time to ditch him. This also would seem to give Merrick Garland a freer hand in bringing charges in the next couple of months.
