Sean Penn: Men Have Become ‘Quite Feminized’ and ‘Cowardly Genes’ Lead Them to Wear Skirts Sean Penn doubled down in an interview with The Independent on his belief that “men have become quite feminized.” The two-time Oscar winner that played the first openly gay politician Harvey Milk generated headlines earlier this month after telling one newspaper, “I am in the club that believes that men in American culture have become wildly feminized. I don’t think that being a brute or having insensitivity or disrespect for women is anything to do with masculinity, or ever did. But I don’t think that [in order] to be fair to women, we should become them.” When asked by The Independent to clarify these comments, Penn said, “I think that men have, in my view, become quite feminized. I have these very strong women in my life who do not take masculinity as a sign of oppression toward them. There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt.” Penn was being interviewed by The Independentalongside his daughter, Dylan Penn, to promote their drama film “Flag Day.” The publication made note that Penn’s comments on men becoming “quite feminized” left his daughter “quiet, staring into space.” variety.com/2022/film/news/sean-penn-criticizes-men-feminized-1235166106/

So your rumored abuse of your wives/partners: is that masculinity, brave genes or just douchebaggery and not oppression, right? Asking for a friend.

Nothing whatsoever cowardly about a man wearing a skirt.
Abusing a woman you're supposed to be in a relationship with however, is another matter.

He should be thankful for his money and fame. That in itself will guarantee he can always find some (younger, dumber) woman willing to put up with his bullshit.

If your masculinity is threatened by a bit of fabric you obviously ain’t got much to start with. Like dudes writing Alpha Male on their Tinder profile … dude, if you have to write it, you’re not it

For the life of me, I cannot even figure out what kind of point he is trying to make.
I've never let relied on some other person to define how masculine or feminine I'm supposed to act. My dad was outwardly the manliest motherf*cker you ever saw - at the age of 9, he was smoking and had a job on a construction site hauling cement bags to help keep his family afloat. But he had a level of concern and sensitivity for his family that a lot of people would probably describe as feminine.

Well, that explains how we got you, Mo. Can't we make a new law that every year we get to vote someone out of being a celebrity? Sean Penn might not be at the top of that list for me, but he'd be close. Toxic, arrogant, Neanderthal.
