Yeah I’m remembering that the “bombshell” was to do with Prince Andrew. William wanting to be pegged was a blind item probably put out there by Meghan’s squad. Meghan was a non-existant z-lister hustling her way up the ladder when this happened so hardly likely they would even consider blaming it on Meghan.. more likely to blame it on Prince Andrew.

Sorry ^ that was confusing. I forgot to quote. i was responding to Novice snarking that whatever Charles did would be blamed on Meghan. Just saying they would more likely scapegoat Andrew if they were going to try and shift blame.
I’m not familiar enough with this to know how bad Charles actions are here but it sounds very shady to me based on that article.

Wasn’t Bin laden one of literally dozens of siblings? The vast majority of which didn’t know and have no links to his terrorism. But they’re still a rich and powerful politically connected family from a country with a regime that is beyond problematic. If he was getting money from Iran there would be an uproar. The Saudis are no better, and might actually be worse.

I don't think anyone means that Charles taking the cash will be blamed on Meghan but that the tabloids will quickly pivot to harping on stupid shit about Meghan and/or Harry like they always do when a royal scandal hits. Andrew's scandal didn't get nearly the coverage as who cried during the bridesmaid fitting or Harry's memoir that hasn't even been released. |
