It’s a walking (like on hills & shit) stick - there is a Y at the top that her hand fits in. 🤷🏻♀️

At some point she was using DoE’s bone headed walking stick - you can see it in the cake stabbing photo.    |

Why are Kate and Sophie bothering carrying clutches? I mean, you’re walking round, meeting people, presumably maybe holding a cuppa or a plate … and they have aides. Why the purses?

Sophie's popularity definitely seems to be on the rise, to the point where she's getting slightly better comments on articles than Bill and Kathy. Someone's ego isn't going to like that... I wonder how it'll play out?

Kate's especially looks like there's nothing in it. But could you imagine having to ask an aide every time you needed a lipstick refresh, or a tampon or whatever? I'm sure the royals do that all the time but it seems so weird to me. |
