I do wonder if her movie / documentary / whatever the hell she's been promoting added strain. Clips I saw show Ben not super keen on her using their personal stuff in the movie. Other clips show people (including Ben) kind of trying to talk her out of the movie altogether but she defends herself as "an artist" that must express herself. Well that shit got panned hard and, online anyways, she was getting reamed for the self indulgence.

Since Ben seems more private and we've long suspected her famewhoring could be a point of tension, I'd imagine her vanity project that included disclosing Ben's love letters to her didn't help. Then it tanked and the internet was laughing.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been seen together publicly for the first time in 47 days, world exclusive photos obtained by In Touch reveal.

The couple — who are no longer sleeping under the same roof — reunited to watch Ben’s child Fin Affleck, 15, perform in a school play in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 16.

In the images, a stone-faced Ben is seen behind the wheel of a black SUV and reaches across the vehicle to open the passenger door for Jen. They were joined by Jen’s 16-year-old child Emme, who sat in the back seat.


An eyewitness said: “Jen looked super thin and was dressed casual-chic. She didn’t glam up like the last time she came to a school function. She seemed more subdued than usual when she greeted Ben as he pulled the car up. Emme was super excited, though, jumping for joy over Fin’s performance.”

It's so obvious Ben hates being reduced to JLo’s arm candy, dragged to endless fancy-ass events (where she gets to pose and pout) and dealing with her drama. Maybe they're trying out not living together all the time, it does work for some couples.
Their combined kids are teenagers now too, that's tough on anyone. 😆

I can't imagine that it's a totally calm lovey-dovey marriage 110% of the time because life isn't like that but if he's filming - those are long days & maybe he moved closer to the location (even in LA a different suburb can be closer); or maybe his kids needed support. I think he's done and she's not or waiting to line up her next man before announcing a split. I feel for the kids because they bonded with Arods kids and now Afflecks. She needs a break from jumping from one relationship to another and especially trying to revive the 'big love'. She's in love with the idea of love.

I'd like it if all these kids still got to see and hang out with one another. I'm sure that's not the case for JLo and Arods kids. But now that they're teens they can do a little more of what they want regardless of what happens between their parents.  I can see Finn and Emme staying friends.

I think Ben is finding out the grass isn't greener. I think JLo was/is a big dummy to marry anyone at this point in her life. She could be doing what she wants and living her best life and not have to worry about pleasing a moody manchild who might fall off the wagon or cheat because that's his default when stress hits. It's probably a full time job dealing with/caring for Ben no matter what phase he's in, even if he's temporarily in a somewhat healthy and productive one.

No one will ever be in love with J.Lo as much as she is in love with herself. She's a black hole of admiration, validation, worship, it's obvious she needs that shit like she needs air. No one can supply that forever, so I don't see any of her marriages lasting.

Ben has addiction issues, and he'll always need someone who can support that.

I do hope the kids can keep their own relationships outside of their parents' and support each other. They do seem to have bonded.

It does seem like he’s no prize, but neither is she. She appears to be very high maintenance and controlling. Plus, a huge attention whore while he seems more private. Rebooting fizzled out romances usually doesn’t work anyway, they should have just hooked up for a while instead of getting hitched.

I have no problem with JLo being in love with herself. It's the hangup that she has about needing to be with a man. And be married to him. No matter how big a POS he is and how much work it is for her. If she really loved herself she wouldn't need to put herself through all that bullshit. She and Marc Anthony would have been a pretty good couple for the long haul except that he's too much of a man whore.

Her ego wants a man who is enough like her in that he's desirable to others (if he's lacking she's gonna be the one to lose interest) but only wants to be with her and has enough self control (or whatever) to reject everyone else who wants him. Good luck with that. Especially in Hollywood. If I was her there's no way I'd get married again at this point in my life. I wish she would really put herself first once and for all and stop all this nonsense with the men.
