Nipples aren’t as big of a deal on the other side of the Atlantic and they’re pretty common in runway shows. Fug dress though

Her face looks adorable but I don't need to see her nips.

It's a great colour on her, and somehow I think it would have been tackier with just a bra underneath. It's nipples, it's ok, we see men's all the time XD I mean on a red carpet, probably no, but this seems like some kind of photo op? I like how confident she looks.

Nothing against the nipples (I myself am not too big on wearing bras), but the dress is a monstrosity and showcases her lack of a neck. Plus, I have an irrational dislike of her. The way she acts reminds me of people I know who're always showing how "cool" and "unpretentious" they are.

I must confess that she looks fantastic to my eyes. I don't even mind the nipples here. Beautiful.

I always say I'd rather see sheer fabric over tits than sheer skirts but this is not flattering at all.
Eta I love her earrings. I've been wanting some clunky 80s earrings like that.

it's hilarious and ironic that people mag wrote this fluff piece celebrating her for standing up for her nipples, and then censored the photos because they can't actually publish nipples. America really has an unhealthy relationship with nudity and sex, it's pretty crazy. it's either puritanical nonsense or the most toxic, violent porn ever. there's a healthier, happier middle... Florence Pugh Claps Back at Critics of Her Free the Nipple Moment at Valentino Show: 'Grow Up'
"Why are you so scared of breasts?" Florence Pugh wrote to her trolls on Instagram after wearing a sheer pink gown at Friday's Valentino runway show in Rome By Glenn Garner July 10, 2022 06:35 PM Florence Pugh is taking pride in her body. The Academy Award nominee, 26, gave some "vulgar" trolls a piece of her mind after turning heads in a see-through sheer gown that bared her chest Friday at Valentino's Fall/Winter 2022 Haute Couture runway show in Rome. She prefaced the Instagram post by saying she knew "there was no way there wouldn't be a commentary" about her "incredible" Valentino look. "Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing," Pugh wrote. "I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous. I wasn't before, during or even now after," she added. "What's been interesting to watch and witness is just how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman's body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see. You even do it with your job titles and work emails in your bio..? "It isn't the first time and certainly won't be the last time a woman will hear what's wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, what's worrying is just how vulgar some of you men can be. Thankfully, I've come to terms with the intricacies of my body that make me, me. I'm happy with all of the 'flaws' that I couldn't bear to look at when I was 14. So many of you wanted to aggressively let me know how disappointed you were by my 'tiny tits,' or how I should be embarrassed by being so 'flat chested.' I've lived in my body for a long time. I'm fully aware of my breast size and am not scared of it. http://instagram.com/p/Cf1ly-aILtc "What's more concerning is…. Why are you so scared of breasts?" Pugh questioned. Pugh explained that she's "grateful" to have grown up with "very strong, powerful, curvy women," and noted that it "has always been my mission in this industry to say 'f— it and f— that' whenever anyone expects my body to morph into an opinion of what's hot or sexually attractive." "Grow up. Respect people. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect humans. Life will get a whole lot easier, I promise. And all because of two cute little nipples…." Pugh concluded her post. Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli was one of several to praise Pugh in the comments section. "Respect," he wrote with a red heart emoji. "Ok this is what I been sayingggg," wrote Aubrey Plaza. "Adore you," Nicola Coughlan commented. "RESPECT. Period," Ariana DeBose wrote. "You're a magical f—ing queen and we do not deserve you," Jameela Jamil responded. Dan Levy commented with the hundred points emoji. Pugh's Valentino look was a floor-length halterneck gown with a layered tulle skirt, in Picciolo's PP Pink, a signature color he previously created with Pantone for the fashion label's Fall/Winter 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection. The Don't Worry Darling star accessorized the look with a pair of pink geometric earrings, a subtle septum ring and a pair of pink platform heels. "Technically they're covered?" Pugh cheekily captioned photos of the ensemble, in which she was "feeling magical," adding: "@pppiccioli you absolute genius. Stunning. Stunning. Stunning evening." Entitled "The Beginning," Friday's Valentino show featured dramatic pieces in reds, greens, purples and the designer's signature pink. Other stars in attendance included Anna Wintour, Naomi Campbell, Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Andrew Garfield, Tommy Dorfman, Ashley Park and Charles Melton. people.com/style/florence-pugh-claps-back-critics-her-free-the-nipple-moment-valentino-show/

I absolutely love her physique. She definitely has gotten criticism for not being the willowy stereotype. By the way, there was a pretty amazing article over the weekend, talking about this unholy nexus among Epstein, Wexner, and Razek (Victoria's Secret), and how they put the culture of being ultra thin into overdrive - among other offenses. I like how she looks, but she has trouble dressing for her body shape and this dress looks like the cheap tulle my mom used to give to play dress up with. At first, I thought it was weird that she was making a big deal out of people making a big deal, because who gives a fuck what people think, but then I remembered the world we live in and I can't imagine what kinds of erroneous biblical slut-shaming trash and general misogyny was hurled her way in the comments, or maybe I can imagine, so never mind that. I forget that we are still being forced to scream in the face of these idiots who want to control our bodies and only want to see tits they married or paid for. It's not the first time someone's worn a sheer blouse, either. As for her body type, I wish I was in that good of shape and I bet a lot of the haters do too. I am sooo sick of seeing the same two body types (VS model or Kardashian). She looks human, for starters. notoriousmkg I saw that there is a new documentary coming out about VS and I hope it actually dives a little bit deep. I tried to watch the A&F one, but I think I watched 40 minutes of random people sitting in a chair saying, "Everyone was wearing A&F when I was in high school!" and gave up.

I tried to watch the A&F one, but I think I watched 40 minutes of random people sitting in a chair saying, "Everyone was wearing A&F when I was in high school!" and gave up. It's called "Victoria's Secret: Angels and Demons". Apparently, there is a big segment on the "Pink" brand. I remember when it first came out at our local mall. You had the regular VS store on one side, and then across from it was "Pink". It looked like underwear more than lingerie, but everything was in blinding fluorescent colors. In the series, they apparently state that this brand was created for teens and tweens to get them started early and make them lifetime VS customers. I didn't know that they had designed the stuff with pictures of toys, etc. on them. Sheesh. I admit the bright pink was not a great color. I think she would have looked better in some kind of more subtle shade of green. That being said, I love her body type. I worked out for years with someone built identically to her - I think FP is secretly putting in lots of gym time.
