Yeah, the story came from a friend of her sister, who said she was told by Amber's mom (who is now deceased) that Amber said Elon was abusive and controlling, and that they had frozen some embryos when they were dating and he was then taking her to court to have them destroyed. Apparently this woman signed a declaration and Depp's team may have used it in court but didn't since Musk never testified.

I thought it was weird that they would freeze embryos when they really didn't even date that long, but seeing that he's happy to spread his seed, who knows.

I read something about that too. It was suggested that Musk signed off having any parental responsibility (which fits with his other comments about not being interested until they are older) but still has to pay a huge chunk of support.

As for the latest Musklings, I wouldn't be surprised if there was IVF involved here as well. He already has twins and triplets with his ex-wife through IVF and all were boys until Vivian transitioned. The only AFAB children he has (assuming AH's daughter is his) were both born to surrogates. If these twins turn out to be boys as well that would make me even more inclined to believe that he likes IVF for gender selection purposes as it's as close as he can get to cloning himself.
