^I think it's because her mouth is permanently set to smug, I just think that's how it looks, whether or not she's really smug.
I really liked her as Jessica Jones. Looking at her here, she'd be the perfect Morticia Addams.

I like her as an actress, not because she's great at it, but because she injects a lot of personality into her roles. But I dislike her generally because in interviews she comes across as really full of herself.

I always thought she was beautiful and she used to give me major hair envy, but aside from her being on Breaking Bad (and Jessica Jones), I don't give her any thought. That said, I can't believe her hair color is natural (she claims it is) and it's starting to look dry and straggly and way too long. I don't understand the constant normalization of wearing your "going to the grocery store hair" to red carpet events especially when you're not 20 years old anymore and you're hair is split and damaged.
I do love the striking contrast of her black hair and porcelain skin and red lipstick.

I love her. She was great as Jessica Jones. She's looking way thinner here though.

She kinda has those exaggerated features, like Anne Hathaway. So I guess you either love it or hate it.

She always has "smug face" & I don't buy it that her natural hair color is black. And if by chance it is, she's definitely dying it as well (maybe she has some gray hair she's trying to cover? Who knows)

If you scroll to half way down her face, she looks a little like Anne Hathaway. But her droopy/sliding eyes and smug look are not pleasant to look at.
