I saw a video of her MIL being an absolute fucking bitch, abusive and bordering on assault. They were arguing in public, Pique was there (not sure if the argument was between Shakira and Pique or Shakira and the MIL) but MIL grabbed her face with one hand, like violently squishing Shakira's cheeks, and with her other hand gave her the shhh gesture. Like an abusive parent.
Imagine doing that to another adult! So major props to Shakira for not punching that lady out. Pique didn't seem to come to her aid in the clip I saw. That's what she had to deal with, and tells you where Pique came from.

if your husband let his mother do that and didn't react and stand up to her, i swear to god that would piss me off more than being cheated on. i don't think my relationship could ever recover.
she's better off without his weak cowardly mama's boy ass, even if he hadn't cheated.

^ Yep. Footballers aren't exactly known for keeping it in their pants. I think this was probably the last straw for her. but i mean, what do you expect if you marry a younger footballer? they're all hoes. footballers, nfl players and basketball players are probably the worst for that. only get involved with famous athletes after they're retired, and even then. massive egos and they're used to everyone everywhere giving them everything they want. no, thanks. I'll never forget the Frank Gifford sting and "shall we not...?"  |
