I wonder if this fundie asshole manipulated her into 2 kids to baby-trap her and it’s not working, so he is throwing a fit.

I don't know about baby-trap (I tire of the narrative that women never make their own choices and all are abused pawns to the men in their life) but she was young and supposedly in love so she may have gone along with the fairytale of first comes marriage then comes babies. The reality of that is very different and such a young girl could easily be overwhelmed and question those choices. Especially if Mr. Husband has any sort of traditional role bullshit going on and therefore isn't much support.
Who knows. I hated his PR campaign and am glad it blew up in his muppet face.
I hope she moves on and lives her best life.

However, he is a fundie, 15 years older than she, and much less attractive. So I would not be surprised if there was psychological coercion involved. But perhaps I am wrong and she was absolutely thrilled to procreate with him, twice, within a very short time period.

Ah, for some reason i thought he is 15 years older. However, regardless of his age, he is religious and, from what i have observed living in a bible-thumping state, religious men tend to be the most controlling of women and eager to coerce them into their “purpose” of motherhood and wifely duty. I obviously don’t know if that was the case here, but i would not be surprised.

I read that she wanted to wait after baby one and then they didn't. But I can't find that bit.

Don't stone me - I haven't seen it ... I'll add it to my list, after Cruella. Haven't seen Game of Thrones? Lucky you. That show broke my heart and made me slightly insane with fury in it's last season. Please don't give the show-runners a moment of your time or a penny of your money. God, it's ridiculous how enraged I can still feel about this stupid, disappointing show.

To be fair, the few people I know that watched GoT after the finale was out and were therefore prepared for the shitty last season still enjoyed the whole show. I think being prepared for the worst made it acceptable.

It's been a while, but I have forgotten what all the outrage was about. However, there is an entire Subreddit dedicated to butt-hurt GoT fans, called "Freefolk".

I didn't think the ending was great but LORD 93% of that show was magical. I'm willing to overlook a disappointing 7%.

GoT season 8? Must I remind everyone of what happened to Brienne of Tarth? That was so badly written, I'm still not over it. When she stood there in a freaking nightgown...? I want to destroy things when I think about that scene. That twist shouldn't have happened in the first place and if it absolutely had to - she should've pulled oathkeeper and end the idiot on the spot.

I had the 3 books as audio books & used to listen while I walked my dog along the Roman wall in Cumbria - I quite likes the synergy between them having a wall & the wall I was walking along but I got lost somewhere in all the battles in book 2 & never finished them. When the TV show came on it had some much hype that I just avoided it.

While she was an impressive, iconic character, it sounded like objections to the show's trajectory was more about Danaerys and just how abruptly everything was tied off. Because the two principal showrunners were basically over it in their own heads and were trying to get on to a new project or something. That being said, I loved 95% of this show and would just sit back on my couch in front of my big TV and just let the experience wash over me.

^^^I've not read the books, but the relationship was kinda in the books, too, so I doubt she was queer. I think that the ending was rushed and careless, with Danaerys and Cersei getting the worst endings, but overall, nothing was really good.

In case anyone was wondering.
